Refund Policy
The short version
We do not take your money, so we cannot give it back.
Every FitTrack Pro subscription is bought and billed through Google Play (and through Apple once the app launches on iOS). They hold your payment details, they charge you, and they are the only ones who can issue a refund.
Ask the store, not us. The steps are below.
How to request a refund on Google Play
- Open the Google Play Store app, or go to play.google.com.
- Tap your profile icon (top right).
- Tap Payments and subscriptions → Budget and order history.
- Find the FitTrack Pro charge.
- Tap it, then Request a refund or Report a problem, and choose the option that fits.
- Google will tell you the outcome, usually within a few days.
If you cannot see a refund option on the charge, use Google Play's help centre at support.google.com/googleplay and contact Google Play support directly.
Google's refund window
Google Play's self-service refund request is generally available for 48 hours after a purchase. Requests within that window are usually granted automatically.
After 48 hours you can still ask, but Google decides case by case, and the decision is theirs.
Google Play's own policies are authoritative on refunds, not this page. We have summarised them in good faith, and Google can change them without telling us.
On iOS, later
Once FitTrack Pro is on the App Store, refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's rules, and Apple's decision.
What we will do if you contact us
Email privacy@yourfittrack.com and we will:
- Tell you honestly whether a refund is likely, based on what happened
- Point you at the right place in the store, with the steps
- Support your refund request with Google if the fault was ours — the app was broken, you were charged for something you did not receive, or we made a billing mistake. We will say so to Google if that helps you
- Fix whatever went wrong, so it does not happen to you again
What we cannot do is put money back on your card. We have no access to your payment method and no ability to reverse a store charge. Anyone telling you otherwise is wrong.
Cancelling is not refunding
These are different things, and the difference costs people money.
Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not return the last one.
- When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not cut you off early — you paid for that time.
- After that, your account drops to the Free plan.
- Your logged data is not deleted when you cancel. It is still there if you resubscribe.
To cancel on Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → FitTrack Pro → Cancel subscription.
Free trials
Where a plan offers a free trial in the store:
- It converts to a paid subscription automatically when it ends. That is how store trials work.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid the charge. Cancelling during the trial still leaves you access until the trial's last day.
- Trials are for new subscribers only. If you have had that plan before, you will not get another one.
- Check the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm. It shows whether a trial actually applies and when it ends. If that screen does not mention a trial, you are being charged now — regardless of what any other screen said.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
This one catches people out, so it is worth stating twice.
Deleting your FitTrack Pro account removes your data. It does not tell Google to stop billing you.
Cancel the subscription in the Play Store as a separate step, or you will keep being charged for an account that no longer exists. The app warns you about this on the delete screen.
If it has already happened to you, email privacy@yourfittrack.com. We cannot refund it, but we will help you take it to Google.
AI credits
AI credits are part of your subscription, not something you buy separately.
- We refund credits automatically when an AI action fails. That refund is in credits, back to your balance — not money.
- Credits have no cash value and are not exchangeable for money.
- Unused credits expire at the end of your billing period and are not refunded.
If you are in the EU or the UK
You may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days.
For digital content and services delivered immediately, that right can be lost once delivery starts with your agreement — which is normally what happens when a subscription activates straight away.
Where you do still have that right, it is exercised through the store you bought from. Contact us at privacy@yourfittrack.com if you believe you have a statutory right that Google has not honoured, and we will help you pursue it.
Nothing in this policy removes rights you have under consumer law where you live.
